I met my partner in high school.
I fell in love with a boy and that boy became a military man.

Today, we are married and have two children.
More than half of every year, he is away. In earlier years, he was gone up to 45 out of 52 weeks, or we lived what felt like a weekend relationship.

I know what it means to carry life alone.
To manage everything at home, to miss, to resent at times and at other moments feel incredibly proud.
Both can exist. They often do.

Along the way, I chose to follow my own path.
I became a business owner, not despite military life, but alongside it. Creating my own direction has always been a way for me to stay grounded in who I am.

I am a natural connector.
Wherever we live, I bring people together. I do this because I deeply believe in community, not as a buzzword, but as a lifeline.

Community matters because no one thrives in isolation.
When people feel seen and supported, they grow stronger, mentally, emotionally, and practically. And when we stand strong ourselves, we gain the capacity to care for others, too.

That belief shapes everything I do.

I care deeply about lifting people up and creating spaces where growth feels safe and human. I also believe that when individuals are stable — financially, mentally, and physically — they are better able to contribute beyond themselves.

That is why I support social initiatives for children, and why I hope to one day create my own projects for children who currently have little access to opportunity or future.

My Gifts for the Homefront was born from all of this.
From lived experience.

And from a deep belief that military partners deserve connection, growth, and to be seen as whole human beings, not just as “the one at home.”
