I fell in love with a boy and that boy became a military man.<\/p>\n
More than half of every year, he is away. In earlier years, he was gone up to 45 out of 52 weeks, or we lived what felt like a weekend relationship.<\/p>\n
To manage everything at home, to miss, to resent at times and at other moments feel incredibly proud.
Both can exist. They often do.<\/p>\n
I became a business owner, not despite military life, but alongside it. Creating my own direction has always been a way for me to stay grounded in who I am.<\/p>\n
Wherever we live, I bring people together. I do this because I deeply believe in community, not as a buzzword, but as a lifeline.<\/p>\n
When people feel seen and supported, they grow stronger, mentally, emotionally, and practically. And when we stand strong ourselves, we gain the capacity to care for others, too.<\/p>\n
